The Gathering Place Gourmets: A Taste of Love

Most Christians like to get together and eat. First Christian Church in Conroe is no exception. The first Sunday of every month, the designated group will prepare and bring the meal to be served. We call this day "Happy Great Day" because this is the day we celebrate birthdays and special anniversaries of our congregation.We enjoy coming together in The Gathering Place and sitting around our round tables and enjoying the food our church family has prepared. We ask for recipes, and comment on the delicious food that we have loaded onto our plates. Compiling a cookbook just seemed the natural thing to do. If your church family is like ours, we know you will enjoy this collection of recipes.The Gathering Place Gourmets: A Taste of Love was cooked up by Joan Jackson and Trish Grimm. Trish said this about naming the cookbook, “Wayne, our pastor, is always talking about how this is a church of love, how we are to love one another.
