The Air Jordan 1 Zoom High CMFT “Red Suede” is a December 2020 release by Jordan Brand that gives an update to the design of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe. The alternate Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT was introduced by Jordan Brand in 2020 as part of footwear and apparel company’s efforts to modernize the iconic sneaker. With even more padding around the ankle collar and Nike’s top-flight Zoom Air technology in the midsole, the Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT is thoroughly contemporary. This “Red Suede” edition features an all-over Gym Red suede construction. A black Swoosh appears on either side of the shoe and a black “Wings” logo can be found on the collar. The “Zoom Air” branding on the tongue tag appears in the same Gym Red tone as the base. Jordan Brand drops a full-length Zoom Air unit into the midsole for more comfort, replacing the standard heel Air unit found in the original Jordan 1 High OG silhouette.
