This listing is for a brand new high volume oil pump and oil pump driveshaft from Melling that is made in the USA. The IS55E driveshaft has the steel shaft guide manufactured in which eliminates the stock style nylon guide. This oil pump has a Screen Tube Diameter: 3/4" . Early models have a 5/8" Screen tube size. This pump is a compatible replacement for the following Chevrolet V6 & V8 engines in passenger cars and pickup trucks as well as many GM Buick, Cadillac, GMC and Pontiac applications that used the Chevy engines: 262 (4.3L) 1993-1995 VIN: Z All with 3/4" diameter pick-up tube 262 (4.3L) 1993-2002 VIN: W All with 3/4" diameter pick-up tube 262 (4.3L) 1996-2008 VIN: X All VIN Refers to the 8th character in the vehicles ID number in the dash.
