These bits create flat-bottom holes, ideal for domestic and exotic hardwoods, softwoods, MDF, plywood, solid surfaces, laminates, acrylics, phenolic, and PVC. They're the first carbide-tipped Forstner bits designed for both freehand drilling with a handheld drill and stationary drill press use.
