<p>The Cam Walker/Fracture Boot has been redesigned to offer a lighter weight more streamlined and more comfortable walking cast. The Velcro adjustments, skid resistant sole and completely open-able liner allow for easy application and adjustment. This item provides comfortable stability for acute ankle sprains, stable fractures of the ankle and soft tissue and stress fractures to the lower leg. A walking cast provides rest for the heel, reduces pressure on the heel at heel strike, provides arch support, and prevents tightening of the Achilles tendon. The patient typically wears the cast for a period of 3-4 weeks.</p>
