We reached more than 300 girls at Pakoto Junior High School, Ifo, Ogun State. Each girl received menstrual hygiene products, essential learning kits, and joined personal development workshops.
OUR STORY
Anniebeacon Girl Child Support Initiative was born out of lived reality. Our founder, Grace Ann Emmanuel, grew up in Kpandaragi, a rural village in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State, as a member of the Nupe minority tribe.
She narrowly escaped child marriage and child trafficking, and fought systemic barriers to earn her degree at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE). She vowed that no other girl should have her education stolen by circumstance.
We were formally established on October 11, 2020, at FUOYE, Ekiti State. We have grown from a campus movement into an NGO registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
